The artist Maya Minder presents an installation and invites us to a workshop on fermentation, bacteria and living cultures in our food, in collaboration with the therapist Serena Gadaleta. Fermentation and biohacking, central aspects of her work, are understood not only in a literal sense, but also as a metaphor for agitation and an incitement to resistance.
A plural and transversal field of expression, the Les Urbaines festival collects the emerging forms and currents of sound, visual and performative arts, germinating the aesthetics of tomorrow. Completely free, it brings together in different spaces in Lausanne, Renens and Chavannes around forty proposals (plastic works, live, DJ sets, performances, workshops) in a festive and dissonant sharing, which invites the shifting of perceptions. The exhibition at Espace Arlaud runs until December 12.
